The quality of our processes in the recruitment of nursing professionals has been state-approved and on June 19, 2023, we have received the RAL quality label «Fair Recruitment Nursing Germany» from the Federal Republic of Germany. We are very proud to receive this award!

Rekruut is committed to respecting the legal framework, in particular the requirements of German labor, residence and social law, within the scope of its services for recruiting international professionals.

Human rights and social standards such as prohibition of discrimination, protection against sexual harassment, equal opportunities, health and safety as well as fair wages are basic principles of Rekruut.

We do not recruit in third countries where there is a shortage of healthcare workers.

We are committed to aligning company practices with the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel. In addition, Rekruut and its cooperation and business partners commit to comply with the ILO Core Labour Standards, in particular the ILO General Principles und Operational Guidelines for Fair Recruitment as well as the IRIS Standards of the International Organisation of Migration. The following principles are crucial to us:

Matthias Mauch

CEO

Matthias is originally from Ammersee in Upper Bavaria. After studying at the London School of Economics, Matthias completed his PhD in Economics at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. After working for the European Central Bank and the German Bundesbank for some time, he took over the management of Rekruut. Matthias advises business clients and institutions on optimal solutions and enjoys dealing with numbers and legal issues.

Qusai Altal

Finance and Process Management

Qusai joined us in 2019 as an intern – the first exchange student of our joint program with the German-Jordanian University in Jordan, one of the leading universities in the Arab region. Much to the delight of his superiors, nothing escapes Qusai’s attention – neither in accounting nor in process management, all transactions are checked by him.

Anne Schönfeld

B2G and Quality Management

While completing her Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, Sociology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Anne gained wide-ranging work experience, for example, at the German Embassy in Cairo and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Jerusalem. She has conducted research on the relationship between state, education and religion and worked as a freelancer for various global mobility service providers for several years. At Rekruut, she is responsible for B2G as well as quality management and focuses
on the need for fairness and sustainability in global talent recruitment.

Yuliia Drach

Operations and Key Account Management Ukraine

In her position as Operations and Key Account Manager, Yuliia helps nurses from Ukraine to settle in Germany, finds suitable employers for them and supports them in the process of professional recognition. She is from Ukraine and came to Germany herself as a refugee in 2022 at the beginning of the Russian military attack. With great motivation and enthusiasm, she supports people to start a new life in Germany, both professionally and privately, and thus works to achieve Rekruut’s mission.

Dana Alaraag

Operations and Key Account Management Jordan

Dana is from Jordan and has been involved in intercultural exchange with Germany for a long time before joining Rekruut in 2022. She graduated in European Studies at the University of Düsseldorf, taught German in Amman and Düsseldorf and looked behind the scenes of the 2021 Bundestag election as an intern at the Bundestag. At Rekruut, she is responsible for recruiting in Jordan from the technical, engineering and IT sectors. She has an in-depth knowledge of our candidates’ skills and
needs, making her the ideal match-maker.

Omar Alaarag

Recruiting Jordan and IT Management

Omar is currently setting up Rekruut’s office in Amman/Jordan and is the contact person for candidates interested in recruitment as well as for our local cooperation partners. Prior to that, he gained professional experience in general management at different startups in Amman. He studied Business IT in Jordan and supports the Rekruut team in the development of suitable software solutions for Customer Relations Management.

Tatiana Krausse

Legal und Operation Management

After completing her bachelor’s and master’s studies in law in Moscow, Tatiana worked for more than two years as a first category lawyer in the public administration. Her fields of expertise are administrative and labor law. Tatiana joined Rekruut as an intern and since the beginning of 2023 she has been strengthening the team as a Legal and Operations Manager for B2B/B2C, reviewing all legal processes. In her work, accuracy, sincerity and fairness are important to her. She is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian and has a high proficiency in German and English. Tatiana loves horse riding, discovering new cities and being inspired by the rich diversity of the world.

Abdelilah Ouahou

Head of Translation & Operations Management Morocco

As Head of Translation, Abdelilah is an important member of the Rekruut team in dealing with all formalities relating to the entry, residence and professional recognition of foreign skilled professionals. He is from Morocco and completed a Master’s degree at the King Fahd Institute for Translation in Tangier, specializing in Arabic, German and French. In addition to his work as a sworn translator in Germany, Abdelilah supports operations for recruiting in Morocco and in doing so, he draws on his experience in coordinating projects in the field of migration and integration. The recruitment of skilled professionals from abroad in compliance with the highest ethical standards is particularly important to him.

Walid Lakhdar

Talent Management and Sales Assistant Morocco

Walid holds the position of Talent Management Assistant at Rekruut in Morocco and serves as the main point of contact for local candidates, providing them with information and support in the processes of recruitment and professional recognition. He also supports sales, building on a one-year trainee program and valuable experience in the sales team of a power network company. Although Walid works remotely from Casablanca with the team in Germany, he feels very much at home in the Rekruut family and is passionate about the successful expansion of project activities in North Africa.

Rana Hijazi

Operations and Key Account Management Tunisia & Morocco

Rana came from Jordan and has been in and out of Germany multiple times before deciding to move here a couple of years ago. While earning a degree in European Studies from the University of Düsseldorf and teaching German in both Jordan and Germany, she developed a keen interest in supporting young talents in their professional development. Being responsible for the recruiting from Tunisia and Morocco, Rana guides each candidate during their journey with great dedication and esprit.

Saule Bizhanova

Operations and Talent Management Kazakhstan

Saule supports the operations and talent management team from Almaty and is the first point of contact for specialists from Kazakhstan and other CIS countries who want to explore new professional horizons in German-speaking countries with Rekruut. She speaks Kazakh, Russian, German, and English and brings a wealth of professional experience to international recruiting. She conducted research in Turkology at the Kazakh Academy of Sciences and worked between Almaty, Moscow, Kyiv and Vienna as a history teacher, accountant, interpreter, real estate manager and in ground handling for different airlines.

Vitalii Fedunyk

Talent Management and Sales Assistant Ukraine

Based in Ternopil in Western Ukraine, Vitalii works closely with the Operations team in Berlin to help people from Ukraine change their lives for the better through employment in Germany. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Ternopil University. He has proven communication skills and a natural feel for customers’ needs while working in consulting and sales for B2C and B2B at a bank and an insurance company.

Lujain Hayajneh

Operations and Talent Management Assistant Jordan

Alongside her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering from the German-Jordanian University, Lujain began her role as an Operations and Talent Management Assistant at the Rekruut office in Amman. In this capacity, she supports the collaboration between the German and Jordanian teams, handles various administrative tasks, and contributes to the successful matching of employers and applicants.

Sarah Shahed

Finance and Accounting Intern

Sarah studies International Accounting at the German Jordanian University and supports Rekruut’s Accounting and Finance Department during a six-month internship. Before that she gained initial work experience as an intern at Arab Bank Jordan. Sarah likes getting to know new cultures and is keen on improving her skills to start a career.

Velid Tinjak

Digital Marketing Management

Velid is in charge for managing our social media campaigns and ensuring consistency and high quality across all our digital platforms. He owns a degree in Marketing Management from the School of Economics and Business, Sarajevo and gained first work experience as a project manager at an organization providing skills and methods for online learning. His interest in data-driven decision-making, content creation, branding, and project management aligns perfectly with Rekruut’s vision of delivering exceptional experiences for both employers and employees. He is passionate about leveraging his European network, project writing skills, and training facilitation experience to further
